Jacqueline Athieno is a Human Resources professional with over 15 years’ experience in the International Development and Humanitarian sector. She has solid HR experience in System Development and Strengthening, Risk Management and Compliance, HR Information Systems and Management, Compensation and Benefits, Organization Development and Change Management among other strategic HR functions.
Jacqueline holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, a Masters in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi, post graduate Diploma from Institute of HRM – Kenya.
She is the Board chair for TYTF.
Nancy Biwott is a seasoned Kenyan professional with a focus on conflict transformation and social justice- Gender equality, HIV&AIDS, disability inclusion and sustainable business. She has facilitated numerous training on the same in the various Kenyan Counties and across various African countries.
She currently works in the sustainable business space with a Non-Profit Organization (SWP) where she facilitates partnerships for sustainability and decent work. She has previously worked with Palladium as an Advisor in the Social Inclusion space as well as with the Ministry of Justice, National Cohesion and Constitutional Affairs Kenya in the Department of National Cohesion.
Ms. Biwott is part of the Umoja na Usawa network that facilitates on social inclusion with various community and youth groups as well as providing training with different organizations. Ms. Biwott also co-runs a blog that highlights trends on social inclusion in addition to being a Board Member with the TYTF as a secretary.
Mariam Akumu is a trainer and a facilitator by profession specializing in Human rights, gender equality and social inclusion. She has over ten years’ experience as a trainer with main target being women and young people from vulnerable communities. She is a member of Pwani Association of Facilitators (PAF). Ms Mariam is currently working in Humanitarian International (NGO) where she promotes staff capacity building. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science. She is the board Treasurer for TYTF. Apart from keeping financial records, she also participates in interviews and conduct trainings for our beneficiaries.
Stephen Omondi is the current program coordinator with TYTF. He is an alumnus from our education intervention program in 2013. He manages day to day operations working with our existing partners, board, donors, students and alumni. He brings in 6 years working experience in Gender based violence intervention programs that targets young people especially men and boys by instilling positive masculinity in defending and protecting girls and women in their lives. Stephen is working with Non-Profit Organization as field officer. He has co-developed curriculums that have helped in adaptations of interventions of addressing SGBV, promoted mentorship and systems capacity development in Malawi and South Sudan. He has interest in research ethic training curriculum.
